What does 'cold pressed' mean?

Cold pressing means the oil is extracted using a wooden churner (ghani) or stone press at temperatures below 40°C. No heat, no chemicals, no solvents. This preserves the natural nutrients, flavour, and aroma that refining destroys. Most oils sold in India are solvent-extracted and then refined with hexane — ours never are.

What is the Bilona method for ghee?

Bilona is the ancient process of making ghee: curd is hand-churned in a wooden churner to separate butter, then the butter is slow-cooked over a gentle flame. This produces curd-washed ghee that retains A2 protein, CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid), and natural butyric acid. Factory ghee is made by directly melting cream — a much faster but nutritionally inferior process.

Are your products certified organic?

Our products are sourced from farms that use traditional, chemical-free practices. We are in the process of obtaining FSSAI organic certification. All batches are independently tested by NABL-accredited laboratories for pesticide residues, adulteration, and purity markers. You can see the test reports on each product page.

Do your products contain preservatives or additives?

Zero. No preservatives, no artificial colours, no artificial flavours, no fillers, no cheap palm oil adulterants. Our Cow Ghee contains 100% pure A2 Gir cow milk curd butter. Our Buffalo Ghee contains 100% pure Murrah buffalo milk curd butter. Our Mustard Oil contains 100% pure wood-pressed black mustard seeds.

What is A2 ghee and why does it matter?

A2 refers to a specific type of beta-casein protein found in milk from indigenous Indian cow breeds (Gir, Sahiwal, Rathi). Most commercial dairy uses Holstein Friesian cows which produce A1 protein. Research suggests A2 protein is easier to digest and may be better tolerated by lactose-sensitive individuals. Our ghee uses only A2 milk from verified desi cow farms.

How long does delivery take?

Is there a minimum order for free shipping?

Yes — free shipping on all orders above ₹999. Orders below ₹999 carry a flat ₹99 shipping charge.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel or modify your order within 2 hours of placement by emailing hello@zerobsproducts.com with your order number. After 2 hours, the order enters processing and cannot be modified. Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible — but you can initiate a return after delivery.

Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?

COD is available on select pincodes for orders up to ₹2,000. At checkout, the COD option will appear if it is available for your pincode. We are working to expand COD coverage.

How do I track my order?

You will receive an SMS and email with your tracking number once your order is dispatched. You can also log in to My Account → Orders for real-time status updates. If you haven't received a tracking number within 3 business days of ordering, please contact us.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for damaged, incorrect, or defective products. Due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of opened or used products. For a full return, the product must be unused and in its original packaging.

My order arrived damaged. What do I do?

We're sorry — this is never acceptable to us. Please email hello@zerobsproducts.com with your order number and 2–3 photos of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund within 24 hours of your report, no questions asked.

How long does a refund take?

Once your return is approved, refunds are processed within 24–48 hours. The amount will be credited to your original payment method. Bank transfers take 5–7 business days; UPI refunds are typically instant.

We accept all major payment methods via Razorpay: UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and EMI options. We do not store any payment information on our servers — all transactions are secured by Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
